At Worimi Framing Service, located in Adamstown, we’ve been dedicated to preserving memories and showcasing artwork for over 30 years. Founded in 1992, our locally owned business is built on a foundation of over 30 years of industry experience. We specialise in bespoke framing, sporting memorabilia displays, canvas stretching, and photo and art prints framing, offering tailored solutions that combine craftsmanship with high-quality materials.

Our team takes pride in helping clients in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Central Coast and surrounding areas create personalised designs that enhance and protect their cherished items. From UV-protective glass to acid-free mats, we prioritise quality and preservation.

Worimi Framing Service has had a journey with local history that makes it the business it is today.

In 1992, it was set up by the Worimi School within the Worimi Detention Centre, at Broadmeadow, with the intention for it to become a work experience program for the inmates that were attending the school.

In time it was opened up to various local Special Education Programs, that allowed many students from varied backgrounds to attend the work experience program.

With continued support from our local community, Worimi Framing Service, became a fundraiser for many Special Education programs in the Hunter, and due to policy changes within the Education Department, finally became a privately owned family business in 2003.

Greg Heaney, became the owner, as he had been with the framing service from the very beginning. In 2019, Greg retired, and Bec Pring, another familiar face in the business, spanned across over 30 years, became the owner.

With thanks to the support of our local & widespread community, Bec will continue to nurture the business for it to be a continuum of ebb and flow of growth and creativity, ready to support, inspire and meet all your Custom Framing needs.
